  • At Paws With Purpose, I believe dogs learn best when training is fun, respectful and rewarding. My approach is holistic and tailored to each dog’s unique needs, focusing on building trust and strengthening the bond between dog and owner.

    My core methods include:

    • Relationship-focused techniques: Building trust and communication so dogs feel safe and understood.

    • Needs-based adjustments: Tailoring methods to each dog’s temperament, history and environment.

    • Calm guidance: Using body language, tone, and consistency to encourage wanted behaviours.

    • Play: Games that build the bond between dog and owner.

    Why these methods work:

    • They reduce stress and anxiety, making learning more effective.

    • Owners feel empowered and confident because the methods are intuitive.

    • Dogs develop long-term resilience and adaptability, not just short-term obedience.

My training is grounded in patience and trust-building, which helps dogs feel safe and supported as they learn.

I focus on creating a calm, enriching environment where dogs can rebuild confidence and strengthen their bond with their owner. Whether it’s addressing anxiety, fear-based behaviours, or simply helping a rescue dog settle into a new home, my goal is to guide both dog and human toward a relationship built on understanding and respect.
